A major drinks logistics warehouse and fulfillment facility in Scotland needed an increase in dock capacity, when they decided to consolidate two depots into one.  With our expertise and experience of previous similar projects, we were the ideal choice for this project.  The existing live operation meant that our works had to be micro managed to ensure no disruption to the client’s day-to-day business activities.

The work involved extensive civil works to reduce the levels of the existing yard, install new retaining walls, design and install three roller shutter doors, dock pods, dock levellers including a traffic light system, safety barriers and associated CCTV and security works.  Adaptations to the existing service yard, including Armco barrier, wheel stops, line marking and signage.  Sprinkler protection and fire detection system to new dock pods, installation of charging points for 29 vehicles.  Power, data and fire detection to new office accommodation for the staff transferring sites, internal decoration, installation of new furniture which included a bespoke Driver Reception Counter and acoustic cupboards for printers.

Installation of Armco protection, line marking and signage within the warehouse which also included a heavy duty mesh wall enclosure.
